The PTC invites parents to join us for SEL coach Meghan Aupperlee’s presentation and discussion on technology, social media and its impact on students!  Guided by the material in John Haidt's book "The Anxious Generation" and recent kids edition "The Amazing Generation" we will explore:

  • The impact of social media on self-esteem and anxiety.

  • How overprotective parenting can affect resilience. 

  • Strategies for building mental and emotional strength in kids. 

Note: There will be high school volunteers providing supervision during the presentation.
